Nokia Confirms to Re-Enter in the Smartphone Market in 2016

Nokia is a well know name for its world’s best phone-market. The CEO of the Company “Rajeev Suri” announced that the former world’s largest Smartphone maker will return to the Smartphone business next year 2016. The CEO told the German business magazine that they are planning to design the mobile phones once again.

He told that the next year the mobile manufacturer will be available to license the brand.

We will look for an appropriate Partner,” he told the magazine.

When the Microsoft brings Nokia in 2014, the clause was that brand will not design any phone till the end of this year 2015. The next year 2016, the company looks for the partner to make its return.

Traditionally, the mobile phones would not be from Nokia Company but it will assist the others in designing the phones and license the name. It will not use its traditional names like Lumia, Asha or X series as these names are owned by Microsoft with a deal of $7.2 billion, nor it will make its own phones.

The CEO told that they will only design phones and make it available for license. Recently, they have used a Taiwanese contact manufacture “Foxconn” which has builds N1 device. Foxconn is well known name as a partner of Apple.

As Microsoft’s deal is done, now the company is free to use any OS (Operating System), including Android for its new Smartphones. According to Nokia what devices they have seen and will they be available as willingly like Lumia, Asha Smartphones remains to be seen. Keep in mind, that the N1 Android was released on a very limited scale.

In the meanwhile Nokia Company is continuing to grow with highly praised mapping with other services, which are in high demand from all the sides.
